Summer Crafting Series: Upcycled CD Coasters, Monday, July 16, 6:30 pm. Though

you’re normally trying to protect CDs from damage, in this case, they can be the

protectors- as beverage coasters. Put old CDs and DVDs to good use holding your

summer drink! Use paint and stencils to transform them into bright and festive sets.

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on. All supplies provided; RSVPs preferred so

we get enough supplies for everyone.

Alyson Jones, and designed for all who want to want to spend the afternoon using

databases like Ancestry Library Edition to break through brick walls. Spread out and

bounce ideas off like-minded family history researchers! Please RSVP as computers will

be used.

Adult Summer Reading Book Club

Summer Reading Program Book Club, Monday, June 25, 6:30 pm: We will discuss The

Soloist by Steve Lopez. It is the true story of Nathaniel Ayers, a musician who becomes

schizophrenic and homeless, and his friendship with Steve Lopez,the Los Angeles

columnist who discovers and writes about him inthe newspaper. Books may be picked

up at the library. Newcomers are always welcome!
