Join us for a peaceful hour of reading in the fresh air at Altoona’s Yard Container Park. No assigned books, no pressure—just bring whatever you’re reading and enjoy quiet company under the sky. Whether you’re deep in a novel, flipping through poetry, or catching up on nonfiction, all readers are welcome.
Come early to settle in, stay late to chat (if you’d like), and let the pages turn in good company. Dine on excellent food and beverage options from The Yard’s featured restaurants and tap house.
In the event of bad weather, readers are always welcome at the library! Coffee and tea available!
