More than just a meal. The Meals on Wheels program also provides a daily check on individuals. If there is a concern when delivering meals, a designated contact person will be contacted for follow-up.

The CESA 10 Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) pairs Foster Grandparents with students to serve as role models, mentors, tutors, and friends. Foster Grandparents are income qualified adults who are at least 55 years old. They work in classrooms during the school day under the direction of teachers on tasks such as reading, practicing math facts, and spelling words.

The Community Support Program (CSP) is a coordinated care and treatment program which provides a range of treatment: rehabilitation: and support services through an identified treatment program and staff to ensure ongoing therapeutic involvement: individualized treatment: rehabilitation: and support services. This program provides services to citizens who have a diagnosed: serious mental illness: such as schizophrenia: bi-polar illness or major depression. The goal of CSP is to enhance the recovery and functioning of individuals with serious mental illness.

Helping Paws is a leading nonprofit organization that breeds, trains, and places assistance dogs with people who have physical disabilities and veterans and first responders with PTSD. Founded in 1988, we are accredited by Assistance Dogs International and meet the standards of the Charities Review Council. 

Our staff stays abreast of industry trends, unique opportunities, and community developments to ensure we best meet the needs of the people we serve and the dogs we respect and love. 

Helping Paws dogs are at work in the community and more are training to join them. What does this mean in daily lives? It means veterans who can sleep through the night or drive children to school with less distress. It means countless keys and phones retrieved, gloves removed, doors opened and lights turned on for those who cannot accomplish such tasks alone. 

It means changed lives.

The Wisconsin Senior Employment Program (Senior Community Services Employment Program) is an employment training program for low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55 years and older. 

The program provides subsidized, part-time work experience for a limited time through community service to obtain the skills necessary for permanent employment. Participants in the program learn new skills and talents, or enhance existing ones, through valuable work experience and other training to become competitive in today’s workforce. 

The Senior Employment Program is funded under Title V of the Older Americans Act. It is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services through area agencies on aging and various other non-profit organizations.
